في الرجل يبيت وفي يده غمر
One Who Spends the Night with Grease from Meat on His Hands
Hadith 27899
٢٧٨٩٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن عيينة عن الزهري عن عبيد اللَّه أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ قال: "من نام وفي يده ريح غمر فأصابه شيء فلا يلومن إلا نفسه" (١).
Hazrat Ubaidullah narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever sleeps while there is the smell of meat’s greasiness on his hand, and then some harm befalls him, he should blame no one but himself.
Hadith 27900
٢٧٩٠٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن واصل عن إبراهيم قال: إن الشيطان (يحضر) (١) الدسم.
Hazrat Wasil narrates that Ibrahim said: Indeed, Satan is present in fat.
Hadith 27901
٢٧٩٠١ - (حدثنا) (١) أبو بكر قال: حدثنا الفضل بن دكين قال: حدثنا زهير عن سهيل عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "من نام وفي يده غمر ⦗٣٨٩⦘ (لم) (٢) يغسله فأصابه شيء فلا يلومن إلا نفسه" (٣).
Hazrat Abu Huraira narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever sleeps while there is the smell of meat’s grease on his hand and he has not washed it, then if any harm comes to him, he should blame no one but himself.
