في القعود بين الظل والشمس
Sitting between shade and sunlight
Hadith 27635
٢٧٦٣٥ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن مغيرة عن الشعبي قال: سمعت عبد اللَّه ابن عمر يقول: القعود بين الظل والشمس مقعد الشيطان (١).
Imam Sha'bi says that I heard Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) saying that sitting between the shade and the sun is the way of sitting of Satan.
Hadith 27636
٢٧٦٣٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة عن قتادة قال: نهى رسول اللَّه ﷺ أن يقعد الرجل بين الظل والشمس (١).
Hazrat Qatadah narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a person from sitting between the shade and the sun.
Hadith 27637
٢٧٦٣٧ - حدثنا وكيع عن إسماعيل عن زياد مولى بني مخزوم عن أبي هريرة قال: حرف الظل (مقعد) (١) الشيطان (٢).
Hazrat Ziyad, who is a freed slave of Banu Makhzum, narrates that Hazrat Abu Hurairah said: The edge of the shade is the place where the devil sits.
Hadith 27638
٢٧٦٣٨ - حدثنا وكيع عن قرة عن نفيع الجمال عن سعيد بن المسيب قال: حرف الظل (مقيل) (١) الشيطان.
Hazrat Nafi' al-Jammal narrates that Hazrat Sa'id bin al-Musayyib said: The edge of the shade is the place where the devil takes his midday nap.
Hadith 27639
٢٧٦٣٩ - حدثنا علي بن الجعد قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن محمد بن واسع عن أبي عياض عن عبيد بن عمير قال: حد الظل والشمس مقاعد الشيطان (١).
Hazrat Abu Ayyaz narrates that Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair said: The edge between sunlight and shade are places where the devil sits.
Hadith 27640
٢٧٦٤٠ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن خالد عن عكرمة في الذي يقعد بين الظل والشمس، (قال) (١): (ذلك) (٢) مقعد الشيطان.
Hazrat Khalid narrates that Hazrat Ikrimah, regarding the person who sits between the sun and the shade, said that this is the place where Satan sits.
Hadith 27641
٢٧٦٤١ - حدثنا زيد بن الحباب (عن) (١) (أبي) (٢) المنيب عن ابن (٣) بريدة عن ⦗٣١١⦘ أبيه عن النبي ﷺ أنه نهى أن يقعد بين الشمس والظل (٤) (٥).
Hazrat Buraidah narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade sitting between shade and sunlight.
