Hadith 27585
٢٧٥٨٥ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن ابن أبي نجيح عن مجاهد قال: أحب الأسماء إلى اللَّه: عبد اللَّه وعبد الرحمن.
Hazrat Ibn Abi Najih states that Hazrat Mujahid said: The most beloved names to Allah are Abdullah and Abdur Rahman.
Hadith 27586
٢٧٥٨٦ - حدثنا ابن (أبي) (١) عدي عن داود عن سعيد بن المسيب قال: أحب الأسماء (إلى اللَّه) (٢): أسماء الأنبياء.
Dawud narrates that Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib said: The most beloved names to Allah, the Lord of Might, are the names of the Prophets.
Hadith 27587
٢٧٥٨٧ - حدثنا خالد بن مخلد قال: حدثنا العمري عن نافع عن ابن عمر عن النبي ﷺ قال: "أحب الأسماء إلى اللَّه عبد اللَّه وعبد الرحمن" (١).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The most beloved names to Allah, the Lord of Might, are Abdullah and Abdur Rahman.
