Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Habib says that I asked Hazrat Abu Qilabah a question? So he replied: "They claim."

Hazrat Qarra says that I have often heard Hasan saying: "They claim, by Allah."

Hazrat Thabit narrates that I asked Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them): Has making nabidh (a type of drink) in pitchers been prohibited? He replied: Those people have said so, and used the word "za‘amū" (they claim). The narrator says: I asked, Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? He replied: Those people have said so, and again used the word "za‘amū" (they claim).

Hazrat Mughira says that when Ibrahim was asked about something, he would say: Those people said like this, and he would use the word "Za'amu".

Hazrat Ibn Aun says that I asked Hazrat Qasim about a person who offers Witr prayer while riding an animal. He replied: People say that Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) used to offer Witr prayer on the ground, and he used the word "Za'amu" (they claim).
