من قال: خذ الحكم ممن سمعته؟
One who says: Only seek understanding from the one you heard it from
Hadith 27242
٢٧٢٤٢ - حدثنا وكيع عن الحسن عن سماك عن عكرمة عن ابن عباس قال: خذ الحكم ممن سمعته، فإنما هو مثل الرمية من غير رام (١) (٢).
Hazrat Ikrimah narrates that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said: Derive the understanding of a matter from the one from whom you heard it, because its example is like that of an arrow shot by someone else.
