Regarding daily use of oil
Hadith 27210
٢٧٢١٠ - حدثنا وكيع عن أبي خزيمة عن الحسن قال: نهى رسول اللَّه ﷺ عن (الترجل) (١) إلا غبًا (٢) (٣).
Hasan narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to forbid combing the hair except occasionally.
Hadith 27211
٢٧٢١١ - حدثنا وكيع عن جويرية بن أسماء عن نافع أن ابن عمر كان ربما ادهن في اليوم مرتين (١).
Hazrat Nafi' narrates that Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) used to sometimes apply oil twice in a day.
Hadith 27212
٢٧٢١٢ - حدثنا ابن نمير قال: حدثنا (سعيد) (١) عن قتادة عن الحسن قال: نهى رسول اللَّه ﷺ عن (الترجل) (٢) إلا غبًا (٣).
Hasan narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to forbid combing the hair except occasionally.
Hadith 27213
٢٧٢١٣ - حدثنا يونس بن محمد قال: حدثنا أبو هلال عن (شيبة) (١) بن هشام عن مغيرة بن الحارث عن أبي هريرة قال: (الترجل) (٢) غبًا (٣).
Hazrat Mughira bin Harith said that Hazrat Abu Huraira stated: Comb your hair only occasionally.
Hadith 27214
٢٧٢١٤ - حدثنا ابن أبي عدي عن ابن عون عن محمد قال: كانوا يكرهون الترجل كل يوم.
Ibn Aun narrates that Muhammad said: The companions considered combing the hair daily to be disliked.
