When a man takes something from another, he should show it to him
Hadith 27183
٢٧١٨٣ - حدثنا حفص بن غياث عن ليث عن أبي هبيرة يحيى بن عباد قال: المسلم مرآة أخيه فإذا أخذ عنه شيئا فليره.
Hazrat Laith says that Hazrat Abu Hubaira Yahya bin Abbad said: A Muslim is the mirror of his brother; when he takes something from him, he should also show it to him.
Hadith 27184
٢٧١٨٤ - حدثنا عباد بن العوام عن غالب قال: سألت الحسن (أو) (١) سأله رجل عن الرجل يأخذ عن الرجل الشيء فيقول: (لا يكن) (٢) بك السوء، أو صرف عنك السوء، قال: فقال: (يقول) (٣): (لا يكن) (٤) بك السوء، فإنه (إلا) (٥) يكن (به) (٦) خير من أن يكون به ثم يُصرف.
Hasan was asked: If a man takes something from another and says to him, "May no evil remain with you," or "May evil be removed from you," what is its ruling? He replied: He should say, "May no evil remain with you."
Hadith 27185
٢٧١٨٥ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن برد عن سليمان بن موسى قال: قال عمر: إذا أخذ أحدكم عن أخيه شيئا فليره (إياه) (١) (٢).
Hazrat Sulaiman bin Musa narrates that Hazrat Umar said: When any one of you takes something from his brother, he should show it to him as well.
Hadith 27186
٢٧١٨٦ - حدثنا عيسى بن يونس عن يحيى بن عبيد اللَّه التيمي قال: سمعت أبي يقولى: سمعت أبا هريرة يقول: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "أحدكم مرآة أخيه، فإذا رأى أذى (١) فليمطه عنه" (٢).
Hazrat Abu Huraira narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Each of you is a mirror to his brother, so when he sees something harmful, he should remove it from him.
