كيف (يتمخط) الرجل (و) بأي يديه؟
How a man should clean his nose and with which hand
Hadith 27112
٢٧١١٢ - حدثنا حفص بن غياث عن الأعمش قال: رآني إبراهيم وأنا (أتمخط) (١) بيميني فنهاني وقال: عليك بيسارك ولا تعتادن تمتخط بيمينك.
Hazrat A'mash says that Ibrahim saw me cleaning my nose with my right hand, so he forbade me and said: The left hand is obligatory upon you, and do not make it a habit to clean your nose with your right hand.
Hadith 27113
٢٧١١٣ - حدثنا ابن فضيل عن الأعمش عن بعض أصحابه عن مسروق عن عائشة قالت: (كانت) (١) يمين رسول اللَّه ﷺ لطعامه (وصلاته) (٢)، ⦗١٧٤⦘ و (كانت) (٣) شماله لما سوى ذلك (٤).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the right hand of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was for eating and prayer, and the left hand was for other tasks.
Hadith 27114
٢٧١١٤ - حدثنا وكيع عن مسافر عن (رزيق) (١) بن سوار أن (الحسن) (٢) بن علي (٣) أمتخط بيمينه (٤).
Hazrat Razeeq bin Sawar narrates that Hazrat Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) cleaned his nose with his right hand.
Hadith 27115
٢٧١١٥ - حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم قال: كانوا يكرهون أن (يمتخط) (١) الرجل بيمينه.
Hazrat A'mash says that Ibrahim stated: The Companions considered it disliked for a person to clean his nose with his right hand.
Hadith 27116
٢٧١١٦ - حدثنا الفضل بن دكين عن الحكم (أبي) (١) معاذ (٢) قال: رأيت الحسن (يمتخط) (٣) بيمينه (٤).
Hazrat Hakam Abu Al-Ma'adh says that I saw Hasan clean his nose with his right hand.
