Leaving some hair on children's heads without shaving
Hadith 26909
٢٦٩٠٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا شبابة قال: حدثنا شعبة عن عبد اللَّه بن دينار عن ابن عمر قال: نهى رسول اللَّه ﷺ عن القزع (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade leaving some hair on the head unshaved while shaving others.
Hadith 26910
٢٦٩١٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع وابن مهدي عن سفيان عن عبد اللَّه بن (الحسن) (١) قال: (سمعت) (٢) (أمي) (٣) فاطمة بنت (الحسين) (٤) تنهى عن القزع.
Hazrat Abdullah bin Hasan states that my mother, Fatima bint Hussain, used to forbid shaving some hair and leaving some unshaven.
Hadith 26911
٢٦٩١١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو أسامة (عن عبيد اللَّه) (١) بن عمر (عن عمر) (٢) (بن نافع) (٣) (عن نافع) (٤) عن ابن عمر قال: نهى رسول اللَّه ﷺ عن ⦗١٠٨⦘ القزع، والقزع (أن) (٥) يحلق من رأس الصبي موضع ويترك موضع (٦).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade shaving part of a child's head and leaving part of it.
Hadith 26912
٢٦٩١٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن موسى بن عبيدة عن أبي سلام قال: دخلت على عائشة وفي رأسي قزعٌ، فأمرت به فجُزّ أو حلق (١).
Hazrat Abu Salam narrates that I presented myself before Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), and a part of my head was shaved. She said, "Shave the whole head."
