Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Sa'id Khudri. He says that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade two types of sales and two types of clothing. As for the two types of sales, they are mulamasah and munabadhah. And the two types of clothing: one is letting one's garment hang down, and the other is wrapping one's shank and waist in a single cloth in such a way that nothing covers a man's private parts.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade two types of clothing: letting the sheet or garment hang down below, and tying a single cloth around the shins and waist in such a way that there remains no covering between your private parts and the sky.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). She says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade two types of clothing: letting a sheet or similar garment hang completely down, and tying one's waist and thighs with a single cloth in such a way that one's private parts are exposed towards the sky.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Buraidah narrates from his father, who narrates from the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), that he (peace be upon him) forbade two types of clothing and two types of sitting. The two types of clothing are: that you pray in only a lower garment (pajama) and have nothing else on; and that a person prays in such a garment in which he does not display adornment. The two types of sitting are: that a person sits in such a way in one garment, tying his back and thighs, that his private parts become exposed; and that a person sits in both sunlight and shade.

Hazrat Salim narrates from his father that the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade certain types of clothing. "As-Samma’" is when a person wraps himself in a single garment and lifts it from both sides over his shoulders, and wears no other garment over it. Or when a person ties a single garment around his waist and thighs in such a way that there is nothing covering his private parts from the sky.
