Hadith 26725
٢٦٧٢٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عيسى بن يونس عن أسامة قال: كان عمر ابن عبد العزيز إذا كان يوم الجمعة بعث الأحراس فيأخذون بأبواب المسجد، ⦗٥٦⦘ (فلا) (١) يجدون رجلًا موفر (شيء من الشعر) (٢) إلا جزوه.
It is narrated from Hazrat Usama. He says that when the day of Friday would come, Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz used to send the guards, so they would stand at the doors of the mosque, and whoever they found with abundant hair, they would cut his hair.
Hadith 26726
٢٦٧٢٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا معاوية بن هشام وسفيان بن عقبة عن (سفيان عن) (١) عاصم (بن كليب) (٢) (عن) (٣) أبيه عن وائل بن حجر قال: (رآني) (٤) النبي ﷺ ولي شعر طويل فقال: "ذباب ذباب"، فانطلقت فأخذته، فرآني النبي ﷺ فقال: "إني لم أعنك وهذا أحسن" (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Wa'il bin Hujr. He says that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw me while my hair was long. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fly, fly." So I went and cut that hair. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw me and said: "By saying 'fly, fly,' I did not mean you. This is also good."
Hadith 26727
٢٦٧٢٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا مبارك عن هشام عن (أبي) (١) قدامة قال: دخل رجل على ابن سيرين وعليه شعر طويل فقال: هذا يكره، ثم دخل عليه من الغد وقد استأصله فقال: هذا يكره.
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Qudamah. He says that a man came to Hazrat Ibn Sirin and that man had long hair. So Ibn Sirin said: This is disliked. Then that person came to you the next day and he had completely shaved his head. So you said: This is also disliked.
