Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Muntashir. He says that Hazrat Masruq used to wear a cotton garment under a woolen cloth.

It is narrated from Qura bin Khalid. He says that I asked Ibn Sirin, "What was the clothing of Abu Huraira?" Ibn Sirin replied, "Like these two garments of mine." And at that time, he was wearing two cotton garments dyed with ochre color. Once, Abu Huraira spat and then said, "Wow, wow, Abu Huraira, you are spitting in a cotton garment."
