Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Sirin. He says that the earlier people saw no harm in the wool of a dead animal and the hair of a camel.

Hazrat Abdul Khaliq narrates from Hazrat Hammad regarding the wool of a dead animal that when it is washed, that is its purification.

Hazrat Hisham narrates about Hasan and Muhammad that both of these gentlemen saw no harm in deriving benefit from the wool of a dead animal. And Hasan says: It should be washed.

It is narrated from Muhammad that the earlier elders saw no harm in wool, hair, the undercoat of sheep, and camel hair. They only considered it disliked to pray in leather.

Hazrat Hammad narrates from Ibrahim regarding the hair, sinews, wool, and bones of a dead animal, that he said: When they are washed, that is their purification.

It is narrated from Hazrat Sha'bi that the daughters of Hazrat Husain bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) used to wear (plain) shirts. Then, when they became mature and married, they used to wear women's kurtis (as well).

It is narrated from Hazrat Hammad. He says that there is no harm in (using) the hair of a dead animal.
