Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Atiyyah that he says: I saw Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) take hold of a fine cloth, then he gathered it in his hand, and then he threw it away.

Hazrat Laith narrates about Hazrat Tawus that he considered wearing fine and delicate clothes to be undesirable.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ubaid that he said: I saw a prepared sheet from the place of Shata with marks on it on Hazrat Qasim.

Hazrat Anis Abu Al-Uryan narrates that he says: I saw Hazrat Hasan bin Muhammad bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) wearing a thin shirt and a thin turban.

It is narrated from Hazrat Habib that he says: I saw Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) wearing a fine and delicate shirt. His lower garment appeared to be transparent due to its thinness.

Hazrat Abu Israeel narrates, he says that Hazrat Hakam used to wear a soft and fine turban.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ismail bin Abdul Malik that he says: I saw Hazrat Abu Ja'far wearing a fine and excellent marked sheet.

Hazrat Laith narrates about Hazrat Mujahid that he disliked fine (thin) clothes.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aflah that he said: I saw a fine sheet on Hazrat Qasim.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ata that he said: I prefer silk more than fine and excellent cloth.

Hazrat Ikrimah narrates about Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) that he had a fine sheet.
