Those Who Say: Eat the Fallen Morsel and Do Not Leave It
Hadith 26051
٢٦٠٥١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن فضيل عن الأعمش عن أبي سفيان عن جابر قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "إذا وقعت اللقمة من يد أحدكم، فليمسح (ما) (١) عليها من الأذى وليأكلها" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir. He says that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When a morsel falls from the hand of any one of you, he should remove whatever harmful thing is on it and eat the morsel."
Hadith 26052
٢٦٠٥٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الوهاب الثقفي عن حميد عن أنس أن لقمة سقطت من يده، فطلبها حتى وجدها، وقال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "إذا ⦗٤٢٤⦘ سقطت لقمة أحدكم فليمط ما عليها، (ثم) (١) ليأكلها ولا يدعها للشيطان" (٢).
Hazrat Humaid narrates about Hazrat Anas that a morsel fell from his hand, so he searched for it until he found it, then said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When a morsel falls from any of you, he should remove whatever is on it and then eat it, and not leave it for Satan."
