Those Who Say There Is No ‘Aqiqah for a Girl
Hadith 25854
٢٥٨٥٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا (سهل) (١) بن يوسف عن عمرو عن الحسن ومحمد أنهما كانا لا يريان (على) (٢) الجارية عقيقة.
Hazrat Amr narrates about Hasan and Muhammad that both of them did not hold the opinion of performing 'Aqiqah on behalf of a girl.
Hadith 25855
٢٥٨٥٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: (حدثت عن) (١) جرير عن مغيرة عن أبي وائل قال: لا يعق عن الجارية ولا تكرم.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Wa'il that he said: Neither will 'aqiqah be performed for a girl, nor will guests be invited and honored on her behalf.
