Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abu Qilabah narrates that Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) told me that a group of eight people from the tribe of ‘Ukl came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and pledged allegiance to Islam. But the land (of Madinah) did not suit them, so their bodies became ill and they complained about this to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Why do you not go with our shepherd to his camels and use the milk and urine of those camels?" They said: Why not, so they went and drank the urine and milk of the camels.

It is narrated from Ibn Tawoos that his father used to drink camel urine and used it as a means of treatment.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Ja'far that he says, there is no harm in treating with the urine of camels.

It is narrated about Hasan that he considered the urine of camels to be disliked.

It is narrated from Ibn Aun, he says that Muhammad was asked about drinking camel urine? So he replied, I do not know what this thing is.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aamir, who says that Jabbar al-Mashriqi used to praise the urine of camels. If there had been anything (wrong) in it, he would not have praised it.

It is narrated from Ibrahim, he says that there is no harm in a person using camel urine to clean the nose.

It is narrated about Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she was asked about the child who is made to sit in camel urine or upon whom urine is dripped. So Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) disliked this.

It is narrated from Hazrat Tariq bin Shihab, he says that a man had boils on his neck, so he treated them with camel urine and peelu (Salvadora persica). (In such a way that) the camel urine and peelu were boiled together. Then people started asking this patient about the treatment. The man refused to tell. Then that man met Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), so he said, "Tell the people about this treatment."
