Hadith 25108
٢٥١٠٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا شريك عن سماك عن محمد بن حاطب قال: (دببتُ) (١) إلى قدر لنا فاحترقت يدي، فأتت بي أمي (إلى شيخ) (٢) بالبطحاء، فقالت: هذا محمد (قد) (٣) احترقت يده، فجعل ينفث عليها ويتكلم بكلام لا ⦗١٥٠⦘ أحفظه، فلما كان في (إمرة) (٤) عثمان قلت: من الشيخ (الذي) (٥) ذهبت بي إليه؟ (قالت) (٦): رسول اللَّه (٧) (٨).
It is narrated from Muhammad bin Hatib, who says: When I was a child, I crawled towards a cooking pot and my hand got burnt. So my mother took me to a man at the place of Batha and said, "This is Muhammad, his hand has been burnt." That elder began to blow on my hand and recited some words which I could not remember. Later, during the caliphate of Uthman, I asked my mother, "Who was that elder to whom you took me?" My mother replied, "He was the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him."
Hadith 25109
٢٥١٠٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن بشر قال: حدثني عبد العزيز بن عمر قال: حدثني رجل من بني سلامان بن سعد عن (أمه) (١) أن خالها حبيب بن (فويك) (٢) حدثها أن أباه خرج به إلى رسول اللَّه ﷺ وعيناه (مبيضتان) (٣)، لا يبصر بهما شيئًا، (فسأله) (٤) ما أصابه؟ فأخبره فنفث رسول اللَّه ﷺ في (عينيه) (٥) فرأيته يدخل الخيط في الإبرة وإنه للابن ثمانين، وإن عينيه (لمبيضتان) (٦) (٧).
A man from Banu Salaman bin Saad narrates, through his mother, that his maternal uncle Habib bin Fuwaiq related from his mother that Habib’s father took him to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while his (Habib’s) eyes were sightless and he could not see anything. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, asked his (Habib’s) father, “What has happened to him (Habib)?” The father informed the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, blew into Habib’s eyes. Then I saw (Habib) threading a needle while he was eighty years old and his eyes were white.
Hadith 25110
٢٥١١٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن مالك بن أنس عن الزهري عن عروة عن عائشة أن النبي ﷺ كان ينفث في الرقية (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to blow during ruqyah (incantations) and amulets.
Hadith 25111
٢٥١١١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن نمير قال: حدثنا (عثمان) (١) بن حكيم قال: أخبرني عبد الرحمن بن عبد العزيز (عن) (٢) يعلى بن مرة قال: رأيت رسول اللَّه ﷺ رفعت امرأة إليه صبيًا، فجعله بينه وبين واسطة (الرّحْل) (٣) ثم (فغر فاه) (٤) فنفث فيه (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): A woman lifted up a child to him, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) placed the child's saddle between himself and the child, then he (peace and blessings be upon him) opened the child's mouth and blew into it.
Hadith 25112
٢٥١١٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حفص عن عثمان بن قيس عن قيس بن محمد بن الأشعث قال: ذهب (بي) (١) إلى عائشة وفي عيني سوء، فرقتني ونفثت (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Qais bin Muhammad bin Ash'ath, he says that I was taken to the service of Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) while I was suffering from pain in my eyes, so Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) performed ruqyah (incantation) on me and blew (upon me).
Hadith 25113
٢٥١١٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو أسامة عن ابن عون قال: سألت محمدًا عن الرقية ينفث فيها، فقال: لا أعلم بها بأسًا.
It is narrated from Ibn Aun, he says: I asked Muhammad about the incantation in which breath is also blown? So he replied: I do not see any harm in it.
