Hadith 25059
٢٥٠٥٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا هشيم قال: أخبرنا (ابن) (١) عون عن إبراهيم أنه سئل عن رجل كان بالكوفة يكتب (من الفزع) (٢): آيات من القرآن فيسقاه المريض، فكره ذلك.
It is narrated about Ibrahim that he was asked about a man in Kufa who would write verses of the Qur'an for frightened people and then give those verses to the patient to drink. Ibrahim did not approve of this.
Hadith 25060
٢٥٠٦٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن مهدي عن الحكم (بن) (١) عطية قال: سمعت الحسن وسئل عن النشر فقال: سحر.
It is narrated from Hazrat Hakam bin Atiyyah. He says that I heard Hasan when he was asked about amulets for possession (by jinn)? So he replied: This is magic.
Hadith 25061
٢٥٠٦١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا (ابن عيينة) (١) (و) (٢) أبو أسامة عن شعبة عن أبي رجاء (قال) (٣): سألت الحسن عن النشر، فذكر لي عن النبي ﵇ (٤) قال: "هي من عمل الشيطان" (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Raja. He says that I asked Hasan about amulets for possession. So he mentioned to me a connected hadith from the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "These are among the acts of Satan."
