Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ata was asked about a person who gives someone wealth for mudarabah on the condition that he will also be the guarantor of that wealth. He replied that he will not be the guarantor.

Hazrat Ikrimah says that every kind of condition in Mudarabah is usury. And this is also the statement of Hazrat Qatadah.

Hasan was asked about a person who gave another person wealth for mudarabah and made him a guarantor? He replied: Whatever profit there is will be divided between the two of them, and attention will not be paid to his guarantee.
