الرجل يأخذ من مال عبده أو أمته
A Master Using the Property of His Slave or Slave Girl
Hadith 23212
٢٣٢١٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو معاوية عن عبيد اللَّه عن نافع عن ابن عمر قال: يأخذ (السيد) (١) من مال مملوكه ما شاء (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that the master can take whatever he wishes from the wealth of his slave.
Hadith 23213
٢٣٢١٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أزهر السمان عن ابن عون قال: سئل محمد عن الرجل يأخذ من مال عبده، فقال: لا أعلم ذلك من الإحسان.
A person asked Muhammad, may Allah have mercy on him, whether a master can take from the wealth of his slave? He, may Allah be pleased with him, replied: I do not consider this to be an act of kindness. (It is not appropriate.)
Hadith 23214
٢٣٢١٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا شبابة عن ابن أبي ذئب عن يزيد بن عبد اللَّه ابن (قسيط) (١) عن رافع بن خديج وجابر بن عبد اللَّه وأبي سعيد الخدري قالوا: من كان (له) (٢) عبد مخارج، (أو) (٣) أمة يطوف عليها فليس له أن يأخذ مما (أعطاهما) (٤) شيئًا (٥).
Hazrat Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him), Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), and Hazrat Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) state that if a person's slave pays tribute or a bondwoman with whom he has intercourse, it is not permissible for the master who has given them as a gift to take anything from what he has given.
