Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said that if a man releases his dog for hunting and it hunts some other animal, then there is no harm in it.

Hazrat Hajjaj (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Hazrat Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) if a man shoots an arrow at a game animal and it hits another animal, what is the ruling? He replied that he may eat it.

Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said that if a person recites Bismillah and shoots an arrow at an animal, but it hits another animal, then there is no harm in it.

It is also narrated similarly from Ibrahim, may Allah have mercy on him.

Hazrat Aamir (may Allah have mercy on him) says that if a person shoots an arrow towards the game without aiming at any specific animal, and it hits one of them, then he can eat it, provided that he recited Bismillah at the time of releasing it.
