Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked: If two people testify about a man that he has divorced his wife, then the judge separates the two, after which one of the two witnesses retracts his testimony and the other marries that woman, what is the ruling? Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) replied: The judgment has already been executed, now the statement of the one who retracts will not be considered.
