If Three People Testify to a Man Divorcing His Wife in Different Places, What Is the Ruling?
Hadith 20204
٢٠٢٠٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا إسماعيل بن (عياش) (١) عن عطاء الخراساني أن رجلا طلق امرأته فشهد عليه ثلاثة نفر، كل رجل يشهد في موطن غير موطن صاحبه (فقضى) (٢) عبد اللَّه بن موهب أنها تطليقة.
Hazrat Ata Khurasani (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a man divorced his wife and made three men witnesses to it. Each person testified that he gave the divorce at a different place. In this situation, Hazrat Abdullah bin Muhab gave the verdict that this would be counted as one divorce.
