If the Husband Has the Right to Take Her Back, the Woman Cannot Leave the House Without His Permission
Hadith 20054
٢٠٠٥٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا عبدة بن سليمان عن عبيد اللَّه بن عمر (عن نافع عن ابن عمر) (١) أنه كان يقول: إذا طلق الرجل امرأته تطليقة أو تطليقتين لم تخرج (من) (٢) (بيته) (٣) إلا بإذنه (٤).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say that if a man has given his wife one or two divorces, then the woman cannot leave the house without his permission.
Hadith 20055
٢٠٠٥٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا يحيى (بن) (١) عبد الملك (بن أبي غنية) (٢) عن جويبر عن الضحاك في قوله: ﴿لَا تُخْرِجُوهُنَّ مِنْ بُيُوتِهِنَّ (وَلَا يَخْرُجْنَ) (٣)﴾ [الطلاق: ١]، قال: (لا) (٤) تخرج من بيتها ما كان له عليها رجعة.
Hazrat Dahhak (may Allah have mercy on him), in the commentary of the verse { لاَ تُخْرِجُوہُنَّ مِنْ بُیُوتِہِنَّ وَلاَ یَخْرُجْنَ } of the Holy Qur'an, says that as long as the man has the right to take her back, the woman cannot leave his house.
