Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Fatimah bint Qais (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that her husband gave her three divorces, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not provide her with residence or maintenance.

Hazrat Fatimah bint Qais (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that during the blessed era of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), my husband gave me three divorces, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said that you will not receive residence or maintenance.

Ibrahim says that a person who gives three divorces will not be compelled to provide maintenance.

Hazrat Ikrimah and Hasan state that a woman who has been given three divorces and a woman whose husband has died will not receive residence and maintenance.

Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a woman who has been given three divorces will not receive maintenance.

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that a woman who has been given three divorces will not receive maintenance.

Hazrat Hisham bin Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that I asked my father, if a person gives his wife an irrevocable divorce, will she receive maintenance? He replied that she will not receive maintenance.
