Explanation of the Quranic Verse: {When they are protected} ({اِذَا أُحْصِنَّ})
Hadith 18505
١٨٥٠٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا عبد الأعلى عن سعيد عن قتادة عن الحسن وهو قول قتادة: ﴿فَإِذَا أُحْصِنَّ﴾ [النساء: ٣٥]، قال: إذا (أحصنتهن) (١) البعولة.
Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him), in the commentary of the verse of the Holy Qur'an { اِذَا أُحْصِنَّ }, mentions the statement of Hazrat Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) that what is meant by this is that when they become pure through marriage.
Hadith 18506
١٨٥٠٦ - حدثنا (ثنا) (١) هشيم عن حصين عن عكرمة عن ابن عباس أنه كان (يقرأها) (٢): ﴿فَإِذَا أُحْصِنَّ﴾ يقول: إذا تزوجن (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), in the explanation of the verse of the Holy Qur'an { اِذَا أُحْصِنَّ }, states that what is meant by this is their getting married.
