Hadith 18270
١٨٢٧٠ - (حدثنا أبو بكر قال) (١): (حدثنا) (٢) سفيان (بن) (٣) عيينة عن ⦗٥٣٥⦘ الزهري عن سهل بن سعد أن النبي ﷺ فرق بين المتلاعنين وقال: "حسابكما على اللَّه" (٤).
Hazrat Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (ﷺ) separated the husband and wife who performed li’an, and said, “The reckoning of both of you is with Allah.”
Hadith 18271
١٨٢٧١ - حدثنا يزيد (بن هارون) (١) عن عباد بن منصور عن عكرمة عن ابن عباس أن النبي ﷺ فرق بينهما، وقضى أن لا (قوت) (٢) (لها عليه) (٣) ولا نفقة (٤).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) separated the husband and wife who performed li'an, and decided that the man would have neither the responsibility of providing food nor maintenance for the woman.
Hadith 18272
١٨٢٧٢ - حدثنا حفص عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن عمر قال: المتلاعنان يفرق بينهما ولا يجتمعان أبدًا (١).
Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that separation will be established between the husband and wife who perform li'an, and they can never be united again.
Hadith 18273
١٨٢٧٣ - حدثنا وكيع عن قيس عن عاصم عن زر عن علي (١).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) say that a man and woman who have performed li'an can never be together.
Hadith 18275
١٨٢٧٥ - حدثنا وكيع عن موسى بن عبيدة عن نافع عن ابن عمر قال: المتلاعنان لا يجتمعان في مصر (١).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that a man and woman who have performed li'an can never be together in the same city.
Hadith 18276
١٨٢٧٦ - حدثنا حفص قال: سألت (عمرًا) (١) فقال: كان الحسن يفرق بينهما فلا يجتمعان أبدًا.
Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) used to separate the man and woman who engaged in li'an, and he held the opinion that they could never be united again.
Hadith 18277
١٨٢٧٧ - [حدثنا جرير عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: إذا لاعن الرجل امرأته فرق بينهما فلا يجتمعان أبدًا] (١).
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said that when a man invokes li'an (mutual cursing) against his wife, separation will be established between them and they will never be united again.
Hadith 18278
١٨٢٧٨ - حدثنا يزيد عن حبيب عن عمرو بن هرم عن جابر بن زيد قال: لا يجتمعان.
Hazrat Jabir bin Zaid (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a man and woman who have performed li'an can never come together again.
Hadith 18279
١٨٢٧٩ - حدثنا ابن مهدي عن زمعة عن ابن طاوس عن أبيه قال: لا يجتمعان.
Hazrat Tawus (may Allah have mercy on him) said that a man and woman who have performed li'an can never come together again.
Hadith 18280
١٨٢٨٠ - حدثنا [الفضل بن دكين عن حسن عن ليث عن عطاء قال: لا يجتمعان] (١).
Hazrat Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a man and woman who have performed li'an can never come together again.
Hadith 18281
١٨٢٨١ - [حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن جابر عن الشعبي قال: المتلاعنان لا يجتمعان] (١).
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a man and woman who have performed li'an can never come together again.
Hadith 18282
١٨٢٨٢ - حدثنا ابن إدريس عن ابن إسحاق عن ابن شهاب قال: مضت السنة أنهما إذا فرق بينهما لم يجتمعا أبدًا (١).
Hazrat Ibn Shihab (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the prescribed legal way has always been that a man and woman who have performed li'an can never come together again.
Hadith 18283
١٨٢٨٣ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن يونس عن الحسن قال في رجل لاعن ثم أكذب نفسه في العدة قال: إذا لاعن انقطع ما بينهما.
Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) gave a verdict regarding a man who performed li'an with his wife and then retracted his statement during the waiting period ('iddah). He said that when li'an was performed, all kinds of relationship between them ended.
