Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said that if a man has intercourse with his slave woman with whom he has a contract of manumission (mukatabah), then he will pay her the equivalent mahr (dowry).

Hazrat Hakam (may Allah have mercy on him) says that if a man has intercourse with a slave woman under a contract of manumission (mukatabah), she will become Umm Walad.

Hazrat Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that if a person has intercourse with his mukatabah slave woman, if he does so by force, then the hadd (punishment) will be applied and he will also have to pay 'aqr (compensation for the violated private part). And if he does so with the consent of the mukatabah, then the hadd will be applied but he will not have to pay 'aqr.

Hazrat Ibn Abi Layla (may Allah have mercy on him) says that if a slave woman under a contract of manumission is had intercourse with and she bears a child, then she will become an umm walad (mother of a child).

Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) says that if a man makes his slave-girl a mukatabah (contracted for emancipation) on the condition that he will continue to have intercourse with her, then there is no harm in it; the condition will remain valid and he can have intercourse with her.

Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that if a person has intercourse with a slave woman under a contract of manumission, then her remaining slavery will become the dowry for her freedom.
