Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that it is disliked for a man to continuously look at the hair of his sister or daughter.

According to Hazrat Tawus (may Allah have mercy on him), it is disliked for a man to look at the hair of his daughter or sister.

Hazrat Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) says that, in my view, it is better for women with whom marriage is forbidden for a man to cover their heads. However, if a man's gaze happens to fall (on them), there is no harm.

Hazrat Abu Salih (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Hasan and Hazrat Husain (may Allah be pleased with them) used to go to their sister Hazrat Umm Kulthum (may Allah be pleased with her) when she was combing her hair.

Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked whether a woman can remove her scarf in front of her brother. He replied, "By Allah! She cannot do so."

Hazrat Aamir (may Allah have mercy on him) says that it is also disliked to look at the hair of any woman who is a mahram.
