Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Salm bin Abi Ziyal narrates that Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz wrote an order in a letter stating that if an orphan boy and an orphan girl are married off while they are minors, then upon reaching maturity, they have the choice (to continue or annul the marriage).

Hasan says that she has the choice.

Hazrat Ata says that he has the choice.

Hazrat Tawus (may Allah have mercy on him) says that when orphan children are married off while they are still minors, they have the choice (to continue or annul the marriage) upon reaching maturity.

Hazrat Qatadah says that if the guardian of an orphan girl arranges her marriage while she is still a minor, the marriage is valid and she will have the right of option.

Hazrat Hammad says that her marriage is valid and she does not have the right of option.
