A Muhrim Killing a Lizard
Hadith 16590
١٦٥٩٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن إبراهيم (بن) (١) نافع قال: سمعت الحسن بن مسلم (سأل طاوسًا) (٢) عن الجعل والوزغ يقتله المحرم، قال: لا بأس به.
Hazrat Tawus was asked whether a person in the state of Ihram can kill black insects and lizards? He replied that there is no harm (if he kills them).
Hadith 16591
١٦٥٩١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن إبراهيم قال: سألت عطاء عن الوزغ (يقتل في) (١) الحرم، فقال: إذا آذاك فلا بأس به.
It was asked from Hazrat Ata whether a person in the state of Ihram can kill a lizard? He replied, if it causes you harm, then there is no harm in killing it.
Hadith 16592
١٦٥٩٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حفص عن ليث عن مجاهد عن ابن عمر قال: اقتل الوزغ في الحل والحرم (١).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that whether you are in Hil or in Haram, kill the lizard (wherever you see it).
