Supplication Between the Yemeni Corner and Maqam Ibrahim
Hadith 16555
١٦٥٥٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن (ابن) (١) جريج عن يحيى بن (عبيد) (٢) عن أبيه عن عبد اللَّه بن السائب قال: سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ ⦗١٣٢⦘ يقول: بين الركن والحجر: "ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة وقنا عذاب النار" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Sa’ib that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicating between the Yemeni Corner and the Black Stone: O Allah, grant us goodness in this world and in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the Fire.
Hadith 16556
١٦٥٥٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أسباط بن محمد عن عطاء عن سعيد بن جبير قال: كان من دعاء ابن عباس (الذي) (١) لا يدع بين الركن والمقام أن يقول: رب قنعني بما رزقتني وبارك لي فيه واخلف على كل غائبة لي بخير (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) never used to leave this supplication between Rukn Yamani and Maqam Ibrahim: "O my Lord, grant me contentment with the sustenance You have provided me, and bless it for me. Whatever is lost or diminished, grant me a better replacement for it."
