Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) was asked what a person in the state of Ihram is allowed to kill. He replied: One of the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) narrated to me that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered the killing of crows.

Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said that a pilgrim in the state of Ihram may kill a crow.

Hazrat Ibn Abu Amarah narrates that I saw Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) in the state of Ihram, riding on the back of a camel and striking a crow.

Hazrat Suwaid bin Ghaflah narrates that Hazrat Umar ordered us to kill crows and hornets even though we were in the state of Ihram.

Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair says that you can kill a crow even when you are in the state of Ihram.

Hazrat Husain narrates that I asked Hazrat Mujahid, "What things is a Muhrim allowed to kill?" He replied, "He can kill a snake and a crow."

Hasan says that a Muhrim can kill a crow.

Hazrat Ata says that the crow will be killed.

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The Muhrim should kill the crow.
