From Where Should a Resident of Makkah Begin Umrah?
Hadith 16415
١٦٤١٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن عمرو بن دينار عن ابن كيسان قال: سمعت ابن عباس يقول: لا يضركم يا أهل مكة أن لا تعتمروا فإن أبيتم فاجعلوا بينكم وبين الحرم بطن (الوادي) (١) (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) says: O people of Makkah! There is no harm if you do not perform Umrah, but if you wish to do so, then keep the valley between yourselves and the Haram.
Hadith 16416
١٦٤١٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: أهل مكة يخرجون للعمرة ويهلون بالحج من مكانهم.
Ibrahim says that the people of Makkah will set out for ‘Umrah, and for Hajj they will enter into ihram from their own place.
