Performing Hajj on Behalf of Someone Who Has Never Performed Hajj
Hadith 16206
١٦٢٠٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن يونس عن الحسن في الرجل يحج عن الرجل الذي لم يحج (قط) (١) قال: يجزئه.
Hasan says regarding the person who performs Hajj on behalf of another person who has never performed Hajj, it will be sufficient on his behalf.
Hadith 16207
١٦٢٠٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن داود عن سعيد بن المسيب قال: إن اللَّه لواسع لهما جميعًا.
Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib says that surely Allah Almighty will expand the reward of this one Hajj for both of them (both will receive its reward).
Hadith 16208
١٦٢٠٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن إدريس عن هشام عن الحسن في الرجل يحج عن الرجل قال: يرجى له مثل أجره.
Hasan says regarding the person who performs Hajj on behalf of another man, he says that it is hoped that he will also receive a reward similar to his.
