Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Ibrahim says that if a woman enters into the state of ihram for Umrah and then fears missing Hajj, she should enter into ihram for Hajj, make up the Umrah, and a sacrificial animal (dam) and Umrah become obligatory upon her.

Hazrat Ibn Abu Najeeh states that I asked Hazrat Mujahid and Hazrat Ata that if a woman enters into the state of Ihram for Umrah and comes to Makkah, then she gets her menses and fears missing Hajj, what should she do? They replied that she should recite the Talbiyah for Hajj and perform the missed Umrah later.

Hasan says regarding the person who assumes Ihram for Umrah and when he arrives, the people are staying at Arafat: if he is certain that he can reach Makkah (i.e., going will not cause him to miss Hajj), then he should become halal from his Umrah (i.e., complete the Umrah in Makkah and become halal). Otherwise, he should recite the Talbiyah for Hajj and perform two Tawafs.

Hazrat Tawus says that if a woman leaves Umrah (due to fear), then she must offer a sacrifice (dam) and make up that Umrah (qada).
