Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Ibrahim says regarding the person who leaves Muzdalifah with the intention of not staying there and comes to Mina, then a sacrifice becomes obligatory upon him.

Ibrahim says regarding the person who is unaware that it is necessary to spend the night at Muzdalifah, that a sacrifice is obligatory upon him.

Hazrat Ata says that whoever leaves Muzdalifah without stopping (due to shortage of time), he should offer a sacrifice in compensation.

Hazrat Sha'bi says that whoever does not stay at Muzdalifah should consider it as an 'Umrah.

Hasan says that whoever does not stay at Muzdalifah, his Hajj is not valid; he should perform Hajj again the following year.
