Those Who Prefer That No One Leaves Makkah Without Completing the Quran
Hadith 15873
١٥٨٧٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن إبراهيم قال: (كانوا) (١) (يحبون) (٢) إذا دخلوا مكة (أن لا) (٣) يخرجوا حتى يختموا القرآن.
It is narrated from Ibrahim that the Companions liked that when they entered Makkah, they would not leave there without completing the recitation of the Holy Qur'an.
Hadith 15874
١٥٨٧٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر بن عياش عن (هشام) (١) عن الحسن قال: كان يعجبهم إذا قدموا مكة (بحج) (٢) (أو) (٣) عمرة ألا يخرجوا حتى يقرؤوا ما معهم من القرآن.
It is narrated from Hasan that when the noble Companions entered Makkah Mukarramah, they liked not to leave there without reciting as much of the Qur'an as they had memorized.
Hadith 15875
١٥٨٧٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد القطان عن (التيمي) (١) عن أبي (مجلز) (٢) قال: كان يحب أو يستحب إذا قدم شيئًا من هذه المساجد أن لا يخرج حتى يقرأ القرآن، بالسجد الحرام (ومسجد المدينة) (٣) ومسجد بيت المقدس.
Hazrat Abu Majliz liked that when a person goes to any of these three mosques, he should not leave without reciting the Holy Qur'an. These mosques are: Masjid al-Haram, Masjid al-Nabawi, and Masjid al-Aqsa (Bayt al-Maqdis).
Hadith 15876
١٥٨٧٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن إبراهيم عن علقمة أنه قرأه يعني القرآن (حيث) (١) قدم (مكة) (٢).
When Hazrat Alqamah would come to Makkah Mukarramah, he would recite the Holy Qur'an.
