في الرجل يهل بالحج ويريد أن يضم إليها عمرة
If someone intends Hajj and then adds Umrah to it
Hadith 15658
١٥٦٥٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو بكر بن عياش عن عمر بن محمد عن سالم قال: أحرم ابن عمر بعمرة ثم سار ساعة ثم قال: ما الحج والعمرة إلا سواء، أشهدكم أني قد أوجبت معها حجة (١).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) put on the Ihram for Umrah, then walked a little and said: Hajj and Umrah are equal; you people bear witness that I have made Hajj obligatory along with Umrah.
Hadith 15659
١٥٦٥٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حميد عن حسن عن ليث عن القاسم بن نافع عن جابر (قال له) (١) رجل: إني (جردت) (٢) الحج أفأضم (إليه) (٣) عمرة؟ قال: نعم واذبح كبشًا (٤).
A man asked Hazrat Jabir whether, having entered into the state of Ihram for Hajj, he could combine Umrah with it. He replied, "Yes, and sacrifice a goat."
Hadith 15660
١٥٦٦٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو معاوية عن إسماعيل عن أبي معشر عن إبراهيم قال: يضيف الحج إلى العمرة، ولا يضيف العمرة إلى الحج.
Ibrahim says that Hajj will be converted to Umrah, but Umrah will not be converted to Hajj.
Hadith 15661
١٥٦٦١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حميد عن حسن عن ليث عن مجاهد.
Hazrat Mujahid, Hazrat Tawus, and Hazrat Ata say that if a person puts on the Ihram for Hajj, if he wishes, he may combine Umrah with it and become a Qarin, and send a Hadi (sacrificial animal) as well.
