Using olive incense
Hadith 15475
١٥٤٧٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا شريك عن عمار عن مسلم البطين أن (الحسين) (١) بن علي كان إذا أحرم أدهن بالزيت (وأدهن) (٢) أصحابه بالطيب، أو يدهن (بالطيب) (٣) (٤).
When Hazrat Husain bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) intended to enter into Ihram, he would use the incense of olive, and his companions would use incense of perfume or incense with fragrance.
Hadith 15476
١٥٤٧٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن موسى بن (عبيدة) (١) عن بعض أصحابه عن ابن عمر أنه كان يدهن بالزيت (قبل أن يحرم) (٢) (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) used to apply the smoke of olive before entering into Ihram.
Hadith 15477
١٥٤٧٧ - [حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سفيان عن منصور عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عمر أنه كان يدهن بالزيت عند الإحرام] (١) (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to use olive incense when assuming Ihram.
Hadith 15478
١٥٤٧٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا قيس عن أبي إسحاق عن الحارث عن علي أنه كان يدهن عند الإحرام من (الدبة) (١)، يعني بالزيت (٢).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) would use olive incense when entering into the state of Ihram.
Hadith 15479
١٥٤٧٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن فرقد السبخي عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عمر أن النبي ﷺ (١) كان يدهن بالزيت عند الإحرام، غير (المقتت) (٢) يعني (المطيب) (٣) (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would apply fragrant oil incense at the time of putting on Ihram.
