Description of stoning Jamrat al-Aqabah
Hadith 15204
١٥٢٠٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن إدريس وأبو خالد عن ابن جريج عن أبي الزبير عن جابر أن النبي ﷺ (١) رمى جمرة العقبة يوم النحر ضحى، وأما بعد فإذا زالت الشمس (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the stoning (Rami) on the Day of Sacrifice (Yawm al-Nahr) at noon, and then after that, performed the stoning after the sun had declined (after zawal).
Hadith 15205
١٥٢٠٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن إدريس عن أشعث عن أبي الزبير عن جابر مثله ولم يرفعه (١).
It is narrated in a similar manner from Hazrat Jabir.
Hadith 15206
١٥٢٠٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير بن عبد الحميد عن منصور عن سلمة ابن كهيل عن الحسن العرني عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس (أو عن الحسن عن ابن عباس) (١) قال: (أتانا) (٢) رسول اللَّه ﷺ بليل، (فرحلنا) (٣) على (حمرات) (٤) أغيلمة بني عبد المطلب وجعل يلطخ أفخاذنا ويقول: " (أبيني) (٥) لا ترجموا الجمرة حتى تطلع الشمس"، وما أحسب أحدا يرميها حتى تطلع الشمس (٦).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) gave precedence among the group to the children of Banu Abdul Muttalib, who were riding donkeys, and were striking their palms on our thighs, and said: O my sons! Do not perform the Rami before sunrise.
Hadith 15208
١٥٢٠٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير بن عبد الحميد عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: لا ترمى جمرة العقبة يوم النحر حتى تطلع الشمس.
Ibrahim says that on the Day of Sacrifice, stoning will not be done before sunrise.
