Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Mujahid and Hazrat Tawus state regarding the person who forgets to perform the two rak'ahs after the obligatory Tawaf, that if afterwards he performs any prayer, it will suffice for him, whether he performs it very close to the Haram or at some distance. And if he leaves the Haram without performing the prayer, then he will have to offer a sacrifice.

Hazrat Ata says regarding the person who forgets to perform the two rak'ahs after Tawaf, he says that whenever he remembers, he should perform them; there is nothing (no penalty) upon him.

Hasan says regarding the person who forgets to perform the two rak‘ahs after tawaf, he said: He should perform them wherever he remembers, as long as he has not approached a woman.
