Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Talha that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) performed Qiran in Hajj and Umrah.

Hazrat Marwan bin Hakam narrates that we were going with Hazrat Uthman when he heard the voice of a person reciting the Talbiyah for both Hajj and Umrah. Hazrat Uthman asked, "Who is this?" People replied, "It is Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him)." Hazrat Uthman came to him and said, "Are you not aware that I have prohibited this?" He replied, "Why not (I am aware), but I cannot abandon the action of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) because of your statement."

Hazrat Abu Wa'il narrates that we set out for Hajj, and Hazrat Sabee bin Ma'bad was with us. He put on the Ihram for both Hajj and Umrah together. Then we came to Hazrat Umar and mentioned this to him. He said, "You have been guided to the Sunnah of your Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)."

Hazrat Abu Imran says that I set out for Hajj with my masters. I went to Hazrat Umm Salamah, and she said that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: O family of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)! Wear the Ihram for both Hajj and Umrah together.

It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Qiran in Hajj and Umrah, and performed only one Tawaf for both.

It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) combined Hajj and Umrah (performed Qiran), and then neither did he prohibit it nor was its prohibition revealed in the Book of Allah.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the Talbiyah for both Hajj and Umrah together, (and said) Recite the Talbiyah for Hajj and Umrah together.

Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Recite the Talbiyah for Hajj and Umrah together.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Abu Qatadah narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Hajj Qiran because it had been made known to him that after this he (peace and blessings be upon him) would not perform Hajj again.

Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib narrates that I heard from the Companions (Sahabah) that they used to recite the Talbiyah for both Hajj and Umrah together.

Hazrat Kathir bin Jumhan narrates that we set out for Hajj and there was a man from the people of the mountains with us who had not performed Hajj before. He entered into the state of Ihram for both Hajj and Umrah together. Our companions considered this blameworthy and disliked it. We stayed near Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them). We said to him: There is a man from the people of the mountains with us who has not performed Hajj before, and he has entered into Ihram for both Hajj and Umrah together, and our companions have considered this blameworthy. What is its expiation? He replied: Its expiation is that he will return with double the reward, and you people with a single reward.

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the Talbiyah for Hajj and Umrah together.
