Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever among you intends to perform Hajj should do so quickly.

Hazrat A'mash says that Hazrat Habib and his companions used to delay Hajj until the month of Dhu al-Qa'dah would begin; Ibrahim disliked this action.

Hazrat Amr bin Murrah narrates that Hazrat Tawus was the first among the people to set out for Hajj and the last to return.

Muhammad does not consider it objectionable if a person buys a camel for the journey of Hajj and travels quickly on it.

Hazrat Abu Burdah narrates that I assumed Ihram in the month of Dhul-Hijjah from Kufa, then I joined the people on the evening of the stay at Arafah, but Abu Musa did not object to my action.

Hazrat Jabir bin Zaid departed from Basra for Makkah on the twelfth or thirteenth date; the narrator says the doubt regarding the date is from my side.

Hazrat Musayyib states that Hazrat Abdullah arrived in Makkah from Madinah on the seventh date, when Hazrat Umar was martyred.

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) traveled from Makkah Mukarramah to Madinah, and during those three days, Hazrat Safiyyah passed away.
