Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) was residing in Makkah Mukarramah. Then he set out from Makkah with the intention of going to Madinah Munawwarah. When he reached the place of Qudayd, he received news that an army spreading discord had entered Madinah. So he disliked going to Madinah Munawwarah to them, and he entered Makkah without Ihram.

Hazrat Ja'far narrates that my father and Hazrat Amr bin Dinar went to their lands outside the Haram, then returned to Makkah without entering into Ihram.

Hazrat Zuhri says that there is no harm in entering Makkah Mukarramah without Ihram.
