Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ammar says that I saw Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair in the state of Ihram; he had tied a leather band on his head, then he cut it off.

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that a Muhrim should not tie a leather strap or any other band on his head.

It was asked from Hazrat Ata that if a person in the state of Ihram develops severe headache in his head? He replied: If he wishes, he may tie a bandage on his head.

Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Yasar narrates that I saw Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) during the time of Najdah in the state of Ihram; he had tied his hair with something resembling a strap.
