Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Hakam bin Utaybah and Ibrahim do not consider it objectionable to use salt mixed with saffron for Ihram.

Hasan says that there is no harm for a Muhrim in using yellow salt in which saffron has been mixed.

Hazrat Ata and Hazrat Tawus disliked the use of yellow salt for a person in the state of Ihram.

Hazrat Hasan bin Salih says that I asked Hazrat Jafar about yellow salt, whether a person in the state of Ihram can use it? He disliked it.
