In expiation for zihar, should sixty needy be fed or ten repeatedly?
Hadith 12659
١٢٦٥٩ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن هشام عن الحسن في رجل عليه إطعام مساكين في كفارة الظهار فأطعم عشرة، ثم أراد أن يعيد عليهم حتى يستكمل، قال: لا حتى يطعم ستين مسكينًا.
Hazrat Hisham narrates that Hasan was asked: A person is obligated to feed sixty needy people as expiation for zihar. He feeds ten, then intends to feed the same ten again so that the total reaches sixty (is this permissible?). He replied: No, he must feed sixty needy people.
Hadith 12660
١٢٦٦٠ - حدثنا محمد بن عبيد عن يعقوب عن قيس عن الشعبي بنحوه.
The same is narrated from Hazrat Sha'bi.
