Hadith 12513
١٢٥١٣ - حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن الأسود بن قيس عن (نبيح) (١) عن جابر أن النبي ﷺ أمر أن (يرد) (٢) القتلى إلى مصارعهم (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered that the slain (their bodies) be returned to the place where they were killed (the battlefield), and that they be buried where they were killed.
Hadith 12514
١٢٥١٤ - حدثنا وكيع عن سعيد (بن) (١) السائب قال: سمعت شيخًا في بني عامر أحد بني (سواءة) (٢) يقال له (عبد) (٣) اللَّه بن معية قال: أصيب رجلان من المسلمين يوم الطائف قال: فحملا إلى النبي ﷺ فبلغه ذلك، فبعث أن يدفنا حيث أصيبا أو لقيا (٤).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mu’iyah narrates that on the day of Ta’if, two Muslims were martyred, so people began to carry their bodies to the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was informed of this, he said, “Bury them where they were martyred.”
Hadith 12515
١٢٥١٥ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن منصور بن صفية عن أمه (قالت) (١): أتيت عائشة (أعزيها) (٢) بأخ لها مات في مكان، فحمل وهو ميت (فدفن) (٣) في مكان آخر، (فقالت) (٤): (ما) (٥) (في) (٦) نفسي منه شيء إلا أني وددت أنه كان (دفن) (٧) حيث مات (٨).
Hazrat Mansur bin Safiyyah narrates from his mother that when Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) arrived, she was being consoled regarding her brother, who had passed away in one place. His body was brought to another place and buried there. She said: "There is nothing in my heart about this except that I wished he had been buried where he had passed away."
Hadith 12516
١٢٥١٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن إبراهيم (بن يزيد) (١) عن ابن (بهمان) (٢) عن جابر ⦗٢٦٥⦘ ابن عبد اللَّه قال: قال النبي ﷺ: " (تدفن) (٣) الأجساد حيث (تقبض) (٤) الأرواح" (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Bury the deceased at the place where their soul is taken.
